Tell us a little about yourself:
I am Indigenous Mexican from Central Washington, Toppenish where the Yakama Reservation is located. Spanish is my first language. I moved to Tacoma two years ago. I come from Immigrant Farm Worker parents.I believe in the innate power each human being has, not some but all human beings. Through my indigenous ancestors, I am a healer. I have also studied the ancient Qi Gong which included a journey to China in 2002 with my teacher & other students from around the world. One of my favorite things to do is officiate love/commitment rituals including marriage ceremonies.Currently I am one of the Commissioners for the City of Tacoma's Commission of Immigrant & Refugee Affairs. I am a Prayer Chaplain with Seattle Unity.

Hello! I'm Precious (I also go by Reese). I'm a mother to 5 beautiful Black children, a wife, entrepreneur and lover of life! I'm a doula and lactation educator, and I operate a living digital directory of BIPOC birth&parenting services (www.birthforthepeople.com) This year my husband and I are taking a leap of faith and world schooling our kids!
